La Escapada is on the Pilon Road Northwest of Esperanza (next to the Hix Island House on the way to Chez Shack). On the quiet side of the island, La Escapada is only a few minutes’ drive to the towns of Esperanza and Isabel II, where most of the dining and shopping are.  It is such an escape from the real world, that you won’t find it on a Google map, but you can find the island, eight miles off the coast of the Puerto Rico mainland.
